I love trees. They have so much to say if we quiet the mind and listen to their wisdom.
The weather here in New England has been less than kind over the past week. Mother Earth is quite unhappy.
However, there is also such beauty in the storm. We just have to shift our perspective a bit and open our eyes to see. She is helping us cleanse our shadows and reveal ancient wisdoms for us to see and feel what she is showing us.
Today’s message from the tree:
“I reach to the sky
with my extended branches.
Catching each snowflake and
Letting it melt into my bark.
My roots are nourished as
I drink up and quench my thirst.
I extend my reach underground
To brace myself in these winds.
My trunk holds me steady
As I ride out this storm
Balancing my branches above
And my roots below.
I provide you nourishment too
And provide you with the air you breathe.
Why have you forsaken me?
Do not see my intrinsic value?
We are connected
You and I
Don’t you see?
Don’t you see?
Respect me
Love me
Nourish me
And I will provide for you”
We have a choice to drown in tragedy or revel in the blessings. What do you choose?
What a ride the past month has been. Mercury retrograde, snow storms, and cosmic changes oh my! With every perceived roadblock we encountered, also rose an opportunity. Everything is what we perceive it to be and many see these as negative. However, there are many of us that either have learned or have become aware and are learning to bend with the Universe and take away the positive aspects mercury retrograde, storms, and cosmic changes have to offer us with a lot of “re” such as reevaluate, redo, relax, replenish, revamp, readjust, release etc that are amplified and accelerating.
What have you learned about yourself in the past month? Did you experience any paradoxes? For me personally as I rode out these latest storms … metaphorically and literally, I began noticing patterns and observations such as:
We have a choice to drown in tragedy or revel in the blessings. What do you choose?
Such simple beauty in such destruction. The paradoxes are almost rhythmic. Do you agree?
I am at awe at the beauty in mother nature’s fury. A sign of life where there is death.
In the midst of chaos, we can find beauty.
We may not see it, but the opportunities we seek are right in front of us. Everything we need to break free from the bonds of our current situation are within our reach. We have 8 more days of mercury retrograde. Today is a full moon, and New England just got clobbered with record snowfall in the past week. It is a great time to assess whatever roadblocks, challenges, or issues and break free once and for all. So what will you choose to do with all this changing energy?
The full moon today gives us another opportunity to harness its amazing power and energies if used correctly as it acts like an amplifier to whatever is happening in your life at this given moment. So the more positive ripples and energies we put out today, the better.
We have a choice to make. The Universe is asking us to first take responsibility for the situation we are in now. Acknowledge your part. These binds are what we create with our thoughts and words. Nothing is fixed in place. However, the negative thoughts we create in our minds create our greatest prisons.
We are being reminded like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz, we’ve had the power all along. It may not be easy, but it’s true.
So take a step back.
Pause.
Gain some clarity.
Click our ruby slippers towards the solutions we seek.
Mercury retrograde is a perfect time to review, relax, readjust, redo, and reevaluate. Everything is in divine order. The rest is free will. Time to grab that sword and cut those binds.
So surrender to what is. Let go of what was and have faith in what will be. Have a blessed day.
WOW what a year it has been. Many may even label 2014 as “crazy”. However, when we take a moment to pause and reflect on everything we experienced in 2014, we realize this past year was key to preparing us for the next phase in our life.
There is no doubt the energies have been intense this past year with all the solar flares, cosmic shifts, and global volatility with many of us experiencing a grand spiritual awakening or metamorphosis affecting us on all planes – physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.
As we are nearing the end of 2014, you may feel a big sigh with a realization we survived the wild roller coaster ride as we learned, balanced, purged, surrendered, allowed, and metamorphosized like never before in preparation for the next chapter of our life to begin in 2015.
As human beings, we tend to be resistant to change. And when we resist the change, we encounter more difficult lessons, and more difficult transitions. This is not to diminish that 2014 was definitely a challenging year with enormous volatility. All you have to do is turn on the television to see all the chaos, loss, political corruption, corporate greed, confusion, and divisions happening across the globe.
Many lessons have been learned over the year. Many themes seemed to have emerged. So what have we learned in 2014?
We learned the art of surrender and accepting what is. When we accept what is and surrender to the Universe, we open new doors, new chapters and invite into our lives miracles and abundance. This includes letting go people, places, or even things that no longer serve us for our highest and best.
Many of us have experienced the feeling of losing control in all aspects of our lives at some point. What we learned in the process was learning to let go what we cannot control and surrender our fears and control to the Universe, because in the end, we are never in control.
We walked in the valley of fear, and confronted it head on. By doing so, we realized we are a lot stronger than we believed we ever were.
By practicing forgiveness and taking personal responsibility, we let go resistance and open ourselves up for change.
In the process we learned about trust and faith. We learned to have more faith when it was challenged, and trust in the divine to assist us, guide us, and lift us up.
We also learned we are more resilient that we believed. As a result, we learned to trust ourselves more.
We cannot add new things to our plate if it is filled with yesterday’s junk. Those who have succeeded in learning these lessons, may have felt a huge shift and weight lifted like a rubber band snap. When we follow our divine path, we honor ourselves.
The year 2015 is the year for opportunities. So what should we look forward to?
It’s all about … YOU … the SELF
This is a year of breakthroughs. We have just been virtually kicked, beaten, and tossed to get to where we are at now. It is crucial you keep the faith, your thoughts positive and above all, be kind to yourself.
We embrace the magic and self-empowerment. We just shed off many layers bringing us to our raw selves with lots of difficult lessons learned. We are now ready to reap the rewards of our efforts at an accelerated rate.
The lessons of taking personal responsibility will continue as we evolve and change with all the cosmic shifts.
Another lesson to be mindful of as we transition into 2015, is about the balance between free will and divine intervention. At the end of the day, we can know all the answers, and have the greatest intuitive insight, but it is up to us to choose what we do with this knowledge and changes.
For some, you may feel as if you are still in the midst of chaos. The Universe is asking you to remember that with chaos, comes new direction and new life. It is critical for you to stay positive and focused on where you are going and not on the chaos. The light will shine again.
The 2014 stormy weather is passing if it has not already past for you. Your will power and beliefs will be the driving force behind 2015. This is a time to choose faith and trust in the divine and conquer your fears once and for all. The Universe believes in you and waiting for you to let go enough to be your partner. Let’s complete this metamorphosis cycle like champions and begin 2015 together with a brand new exciting chapter. Above all, let’s enjoy this journey called life.
After every great storm, the Sun returns to shine. After every great storm comes the rainbow. After every big storm and rough surf comes fertile soil. With every big storm comes nature’s pruning of unnecessary branches and debris.
After every big storm comes green grasses. After every big storm comes beautiful big flowers. After every big storm comes the birds, the animals, and the emergence of life awakens.
The cycles in our life are no different than the cycles of nature. When we experience stormy weather things seemed unclear, cloudy, and at times destructive. It is during those times, we sometimes are unable to see the Sun behind the clouds or the rainbow in the sky or the new sprouts of plants preparing to emerge from the soil.
And as human beings we experience similar stormy weather such as rip tides, floods, hurricanes and devastation. However, it is during those times just like in nature, that we are clearing out the old, the sick, and the energies that is clogging up our abilities for the new to emerge into our life.
During this mercury retrograde, learn to enjoy the storm. Sit back and enjoy the ride. For once, it is time to get out of your own way and let the Universe lead the way to your higher calling.
