Heart Chakra Chakradance With Franki
The heart chakra’s true purpose is to help us experience the joy of loving and receiving love. The heart chakra balances the energies of our lower and upper chakras – we feel it as the breath that dances between body and spirit. An open heart is achieved by releasing any past wounds or attachments, which may be hurting our heart.
The key to this chakra is to find love, forgiveness, and compassion, for both others and for ourselves. If this chakra is blocked, we become critical and judgmental and on a physical level our shoulders are often hunched in an attempt to try to protect the heart.
In Chakradance, we open and expand through the chest, inviting a softening of the heart. The softening stirs the energy of love and compassion, dissolving the hurt buried in the heart.
