Join us for Medicine of the Wise Woman, a day-long retreat that weaves ancestral wisdom, spiritual journeys, honoring the transition between mother and crone, and embracing the powerful energy of the incoming season of Samhain.
Co-facilitated by Laura Bonetzky-Joseph and Christel Poirier, this immersive experience invites you to connect deeply with the voices of your ancestors and the ancient feminine mysteries designed to empower you.
In the thinning of the veils, when the Irish goddess, the Morrigan’s energy is strongest, we will gather to:

- Renewal and Reflection: Engage in guided journaling and creative arts to uncover messages from your lineage and the wisdom of the wise grandmothers.
- Paint with the Ancestors: Engage in an experiential art journey, weaving ancestral symbols and messages into your canvas. Guided meditations will support you in receiving and painting symbols that hold meaning for your path.
- Tea Ceremony: Savor an intentional tea ceremony using mugwort—a herb known for enhancing intuition and ancestral connection—or a blend of herbs chosen to support our work. Infuse your tea with prayers and questions for your lineage.
- Fire and Release Ritual: Participate in a ceremony. With sacred intention, offer your words to the fire, transforming and clearing space for new beginnings.
- Embodying the Crone: Reflect on the journey between mother and crone through storytelling, guided journeying, and a sacred circle honoring the wise woman within.
- Ancestral Offerings: Bring a small natural item as an offering to add to our main altar—herbs, dried flowers, or a personal token—to honor your ancestors.
- Integration & Blessings: Close with an ancestral blessing and a gratitude prayer, sealing the work with intention and grace.
- Connect with Community: Sharing circle in a safe supportive inclusive space.
- Healthy Nourishment: Enjoy a healthy lunch, light snacks, water, and tea throughout the day.

What to Bring:
- A journal and pen
- An item for the ancestral altar space (herbs, dried flowers, or a small token)
- Comfortable layers for indoor and outdoor activities
- An open heart and readiness to journey deep
Come, weave your story with the wisdom of those who walked before you. Embrace the Medicine of the Wise Woman and reclaim the gifts of your lineage.

About Your Space Holders:

Laura Bonetzky-Joseph:
My name is Laura. I am a multigenerational multidisciplinary healer and intuitive, author of 2 books – Feisty and The Secrets To Healing, psychic medium, spiritual guide & educator, facilitator, Jikiden Reiki Teacher, sacred activist, podcast host of Triggers And Spiritual Medicine and ceremonialist.
I’ve been walking a sacred path for over five decades, & every step of the way has been a lesson in reclaiming power, healing, and breaking cycles.
My journey began as a child with many many stories but nicknamed Dr. Doolittle for my connection with animals in need.
By age 12, I had already been published for my rescue & healing work. Those early days set the stage for a life filled with service, intuition & a deep bond with the unseen world.
Since 2006, I’ve been offering spiritual based integrative therapies with a specialty in somatic trauma healing through Healing With Spirit and later with Healing Trauma Through Spirit.
But my work isn’t just about addressing symptoms. It’s about diving deep into the roots—whether they stem from chronic illness, end of life, ancestral lines, cultural conditioning, or life’s most challenging moments.
My approach is multidimensional weaving into a custom journey for each individual.
Starting in February 2025, we started our 6 month journey including an 8-day pilgrimage to Ireland in May/June to UNpack cultural conditioning, religious indoctrination and persecution to reclaim aspects lost or stolen from us or our ancestors.
What makes me different?
I don’t follow trends.
I don’t believe healing can be bought through fancy programs because everyone processes and heals differently and at different rates and seasons.
It’s a lifelong commitment; one I’ve apprenticed under wise elders to fully understand.
My work isn’t a weekend class; it’s decades of deep learning & devotion to walking my talk—every single day.
I am here to help folks to harness their power by addressing and healing root issues, reclaiming lost parts of themselves, reconnecting with ancestral wisdom, and aligning with Spirit.
With the energy of the Year of the Snake this year in 2025, we’re called to shed old patterns, embrace transformation, and honor the sacred feminine and our own healing.
Side note:
I am a divorced grandmother, lover of herbal plants and plant medicines, survivor of sexual assault and domestic violence, and a member of the TRAC Coalition in Massachusetts advocating for policy & legislative change for survivors of abuse.
