The world needs your creativity\, vision\, voice like never before. \nYou are invited to join us for our monthly women’s wisdom & healing circles to gather in community and sisterhood. Celebrate each other. Be seen. Be heard. Be witnessed. Be supported. \n\nWHY WOMEN NEED CIRCLES\nWomen’s Retreat with Laura Joseph\, Healing With Spirit (c) 2019\nMany women can lose sight of themselves in every day demands\, pressures\, routine and multi-tasking\, supporting their partner or children\, caring for their homes\, juggling a career\, paying the bills\, etc. \nIt can be very healing to experience validation and to feel honored by other women\, especially in a world where women are often taught to compete with each other\, compare bodies and status\, be jealous\, gossip\, judge\, etc. Women were conditioned over 500 years to be this way. \nWe are changing this story\, and reclaiming what was taken from us\, AND need a safe space to land more than ever before. \nWomen’s gatherings have been around for thousands of years. Once persecuted for during the burning times of witches\, the resurgence of women’s circles is gaining traction. \nThese circles are designed to allow for sharing\, support\, and feelings of safety within a non-judgmental nurturing environment supported by two highly skilled facilitators with many decades of experience. \n\nMONTHLY STRUCTURE:\nRetreats & Events hosted by Healing With Spirit\nThese circles fall in alignment of the NEW MOON cycles. Each month\, we will meet on the Sunday before or after the NEW MOON which is around the 3rd Sunday of the month. Once persecuted for during the burning times of witches\, the resurgence of women’s circles is gaining traction. \nThese circles are designed to allow for sharing\, support\, and feelings of safety within a non-judgmental nurturing environment supported by two highly skilled facilitators with many decades of experience. \n\nMONTHLY STRUCTURE:\nRetreats & Events hosted by Healing With Spirit\nThese circles fall in alignment of the NEW MOON cycles. Each month\, we will meet on the Sunday before or after the NEW MOON which is around the 3rd Sunday of the month. Nothing fancy as we will have our Holiday Open House in December. \nWill serve light snacks\, herbal tea\, and more. \n\nAlso\, October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month\, a cause Laura Bonetzky-Joseph is passionate about and has worked towards solutions for over 15years to support survivors\, make an impact\, and create change. \nShe is a frequent speaker on the topic\, is the host of Triggers and Spiritual Medicine\, and author of 2 books on top of her client work with survivors in healing and/or advocacy which to date she has self-funded. \nIn 2023\, Laura testified before legislators on 11 different bills as a survivor\, expert\, and advocate in 2.5 months that impact survivors of abuse that required her to take enormous amount of time off of work and took on a significant amount of debt and expenses. \nRecently\, our work also helped a protective mom from being incarcerated by a family court judge in a case involving post separation abuse and litigation abuse. DESCRIPTION:‘Life Alive – Drum Circle’ will celebrate expressing Spirit through the human body with the Universal language that is music and movement. We will open and close the drum circle with a guided meditation which will include sage\, unison drumming\, and toning to center and align our energies. In between will be a freestyle drum circle. Anyone can start a rhythm\, the group will improvise around that rhythm until it naturally concludes\, and then a new rhythm can arise. All skill levels are welcome\, this drum circle is open to total beginners and experienced drummers alike. It is also not just open to drummers! Dancers! During the freestyle portion\, being conscious of the space you are in and those around you\, feel free to get up and move! Shake\, dance\, stretch\, flow… feel free to move to the rhythm and express through your movement.\nThe first ‘Life Alive’ will be held on 1/26/24 from 7:00-9:00 pm. Please arrive a little before 7:00 if possible to get settled in for our opening meditation.’Life Alive’ will continue to be held after January on the fourth Friday of each month. \nThere will be a limited number of drums and percussion items available for borrowing at the circle\, but if you have an instrument\, please bring yours. Jason loves sharing his passion for music and wants to encourage and inspire people to expand their love of music through his creation and facilitation. \nJason has taught drum lessons for over 15 years. He taught for 8 years at the Holliston School for the Performing Arts in Holliston\, MA. Karol needs music just as much as food and water. Okay\, maybe not just as much but\, music has been a prominent part of Jason’s path since day one. Jason’s father is a musician\, guitar is his main instrument\, and he instilled a love of music in Jason right out of the gate. Through private lessons and school growing up\, plus a healthy dose of trial and error self-teaching (then and now)\, Jason has become proficient in a wide range of musical instruments\, disciplines\, and styles. Jason loves sharing his passion for music and wants to encourage and inspire people to expand their love of music through his creation and facilitation. \nJason has taught drum lessons for over 15 years. He taught for 8 years at the Holliston School for the Performing Arts in Holliston\, MA. He worked as a Senior Store Associate and Lesson Program Coordinator at the Music & Arts store in Newton Centre\, MA for 4 years. He currently teaches private lessons in students’ homes. Part of different projects over the years\, he currently performs as part of Drum Nomads\, Electric Nomads\, 52:db\, and he created/facilitates the ‘Divine Design – Ecstatic Dance & Sound Bath’ event series at the Common Street Spiritual Center in Natick\, MA. He assists the wonderful DJ Tara Ma with putting on her recurring ecstatic dance event in Lincoln\, RI. He also has a passion for and experience with audio/video recording\, engineering\, editing\, and production as well as musical instrument construction\, maintenance\, and modification. \nIn addition to music\, some of Jason’s interests are: connecting with people and listening to their stories\, philosophical conversations\, learning about existence/the cosmos/The Universe\, film\, writing (fiction/non-fiction/poetry)\, hiking/biking/kayaking\, yoga/Tai Chi\, various and ever-evolving spiritual practices/disciplines (ask if you want to know more)\, acting in theater productions… oh yes\, and most importantly\, endeavouring to give cats the best ear massages ever! Jason would like to thank his cat companion Morgan for all the practice over the years.

This workshop will provide guidance and support in understanding the complexities of coping with End-of-Life Journeys. \nThe workshop is designed to help you prepare for the inevitable and navigate the challenges that lie ahead. We will cover a range of topics\, including how to communicate with your loved one\, how to manage pain and other symptoms\, and how to cope with the emotional turmoil that comes with the End-of-Life journey. \nUnderstand that facing the End-of-Life Journey of a loved one is like having an invasive stranger in your midst who consumes everything in your life. It sends ripples through all your relationships and disturbs the peaceful pond of life. DESCRIPTION:‘Life Alive – Drum Circle’ will celebrate expressing Spirit through the human body with the Universal language that is music and movement. We will open and close the drum circle with a guided meditation which will include sage\, unison drumming\, and toning to center and align our energies. In between will be a freestyle drum circle.
